MEET YOUR REFLECTION

Four dreamers form two partnerships. Every faction bears one player’s portrait, so all 13 cards of that suit belong to that face.

DECLARE A PROPHECY

Each dreamer secretly predicts exactly 1–7 fragments. Nobody passes and there is no required combined total.

BEND THE DREAM LAW

Follow the led portrait suit. ASCEND begins with high cards winning. After every fragment the law flips to DESCEND, then back again.

ESCAPE YOUR OWN FACE

Win a trick without your portrait for +1 wink. Capture even one card showing your own face and lose 2 instead. The winner’s faction still becomes trump.

The portrait trap: opponents can poison a trick by throwing your face into it. Duck your own portrait, chase every clean trick, and still hit your exact prophecy. A partnership awakens at 41.
